Tourism Safety Association is a non-profit organization set up to:
• interaction with bodies, international and national organizations, consolidation of efforts, resources and coordination of the activities of the Association members in the field of integrated security, antiterrorist security, fire safety, radiation and biological safety, emergencies protection, tourists transportation safety,  as well as protection and physical guard of operated, designed, constructed and modernized tourist industry facilities.
• collection and analysis of statistical data and assessment of real and potential internal and external challenges and threats in tourism security sphere, promotion an adequate response to it, development and improvement of public policy and international cooperation, effective legislative, regulatory and technical regulation in tourism security sphere.
• creation of a common information space in the sphere of domestic and international tourism security, raising awareness and training of  tourists, owners of tourism industry facilities;
• increase the accessibility and security of domestic and international tourism, including for disabled people, as well as harmonizing requirements and standards, navigation and information systems in the tourist industry and tourism security;
• presentation, defending and protecting business reputation, property and collective interests of the Association members, promoting their business development and promotion in the field of tourism security.
The legal status of the Association is determined with current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Charter.
Location of the governing body of the Association is the Russian Federation, Moscow.
Association activity
Annually the Association holds, supports and participates various events both in Moscow and in other regions of the Russian Federation aimed at assisting in ensuring security and anti-terrorist protection of tourist industry facilities.
The Association intends to develop appropriate professional standards and a certification system.
The Association, in cooperation with the state authorities, is interested in consolidating efforts and uniting the potential of companies and organizations specializing in the development, production and supply of systems and equipment for protection, security, antiterrorism, anti-crime and fire protection, for project activities, installation and maintenance of systems and equipment, in the training and education of tourist industry personnel, on the provision of insurance and consulting services.
In the structure of the Association, appropriate commissions and committees are established on the directions from among the most authoritative and competent representatives of the members of the Association and independent experts. Members of the Association take part in upholding the common interests of the Association and the tourism industry in various interdepartmental and public councils under government bodies, working groups, commissions, specialized Rosstandart TCs and other bodies.
In the structure of the Association there are special branch Committees with the most authoritative and competent representatives of the Association members and independent experts.
